Description

Hidehisa Tiny Garden Scissors “Tiny 5” is definitely the case of “Don’t judge a book by its cover”.  You cannot let the appearance deceive you. They may be tiny and fit in your palm but their blades are still super sharp, attached to their ergonomic body, making these scissors a serious and reliable working tool.
In fact, it is more difficult to give the same functionality to these tiny scissors than it is to their bigger cousins.  It was precisely for this reason that Hidehisa’s “Tiny Garden Scissor Series” won “Good Design Awards” in Japan.  Who in particular did these scissors impress?  The Good Design Awards’ Chief Jury was none other than the World renowned industrial designer, Naoto Fukasawa, whose clients include MUJI, PANASONIC, NEC, HITACHI, ALESSI, BOTTEGA GHIANDA, B&B ITALIA, SAMSUNG, to name a few.
These scissors are good for your indoor plants, leafy vegetables, micro-herbs or succulents.  Make sure you put the scissors in the blue sheath when you put these in your pocket.

Packaging is currently transitioning from black to grey, so your item may arrive in either style.

Specifications
Size: 10cm
Weight: 25g
Blade Length: 3cm

Care Instructions
– Please use these tiny scissors carefully and only on soft and thin stems of plants.  These blades are extremely thin and back blades are concave which make them sharp.
-Do not cut hard objects such as wire and dried flowers with these scissors. These floral scissors and secateurs are specifically designed to cut raw branches and stems and the blades are finely adjusted for this purpose.
-Do not sharpen the back of the blades if you are not familiar with Japanese shears (concave).
– To maintain the sharpness and if you are not using them for a while, say 6 months, we recommend you apply a drop of Japanese camellia seed oil around the rivet.  Open and close a few times and wipe off any excess oil.
