But should it just be used as tool oil?  What else is camellia oil good for?  One thing I want to shout in bold here is that <strong>our camellia oil is edible grade<\/strong>.  So it is actually ideal to eat but at least use on your hands, hair, heels, elbows, lips\u2026 everywhere on your body. \u00a0What is more unknown is that camellia oil contains fat called oleic acid and that is the closest fat to human skin, more than any other oils available.  It is the most natural oil you can consume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Good Oil Made Available by Good People<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Japanese have used this for 1,200 years. \u00a0Our oil comes from an NPO in Kagoshima where one of the most active volcanoes\u00a0is in the world. The community there is too often threatened by eruptions which kill all their crops &#8211; except for, you guessed it, camellias (There is more on this on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shokuninstore.pro\/au\/product\/100-camellia-seed-oil-35ml\/\">product page<\/a> if you are interested). \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was wondering why this oil wasn\u2019t commercially available outside Japan and couldn\u2019t believe my ears &#8211; they didn\u2019t have a safety data sheet in English that\u2019s required for export. \u00a0WHAT?!  Shokunin Store decided to help and rectified this situation.  Our intention is to introduce this oil as food too.  You can make very tasty tempura with it.  Or you can try a small amount on focaccia or flatbread with dukkah.  Yum.
